Bauer BG36

The Bauer BG36 is a massive hydraulic drilling machine -- it has an operating weight of approximately 127 metric tons -- that specializes in secant pile walls and other large-scale work.

The BG 36, which is equipped with a two-metre oscillator for large diameter piles, has been specially designed for suiting the following applications:

  • Drilling cased boreholes (installation of casing by rotary drive or optionally by hydraulic oscillator – both are powered by the drilling rig)
  • Drilling uncased deep boreholes that are stabilized by drilling fluid
  • Drilling boreholes with long hollow stem augers (CFA system), with or without kelly extensions
  • Special drilling systems, such as FOW piles, double rotary head drilling (cased CFA system), displacement piles, soil mixing system (CSM and SMW)
