HFDI was awarded the Sapperton Pump Station Replacement Project as a design build for the shoring system. Secant piles, high-capacity anchors and internal bracing were selected for the shoring system. With the Brunette River only 6m away in some areas and a static water table of 2m below ground surface careful planning was required for the pile depth, installation tolerance, interlock, and anchor quantity to ensure a dry excavation for the GC.
